Why do I need Limescale protection for my appliances?
Limescale deposits form in hard water areas wherever water is heated up unless some sort of protection is applied. Limescale has a drastic effect on the efficiency and lifespan of appliances throughout the home. AQUA-care is designed for households suffering from limescale deposits in single appliances such as washing machine and dishwashers. In these appliances, scale deposits can build up on heating elements, causing lack of efficiency. This is because limescale is a very effective insulator and the element therefore has to be on, using power, for a longer period to heat up the water to the required temperature. Other problems with limescale in these appliances are blocked and scaled up pipework and parts, limescale clogged sprayers and dull dirty looking inner surfaces. |

AQUA-care
AQUA-care is designed to protect your whole house from limescale damage. It works in a similar way to the SCALE-gon, passing the water through crystals to eliminate limescale. The crystals in AQUA-care are food-grade polyphosphates, linked to a proportional dosing system to give maximum cartridge life. AQUA-care is easy to fit to standard 15mm pipework and is fully compliant with the EC Drinking Water Directive 80/778. Internal crystals need refilling approx every 6 months, simple to refill with a free reminder service. |
